Mrs. Svobodová, or simply Vlaďka, was born in 1962 in Prague and currently lives in Kladno.

She graduated in nursing at the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and in nursing with a focus on palliative care at the University of Nursing and Social Work of St. Elizabeth in Bratislava.

During her practice, she worked in various medical facilities in the positions of general nurse or head nurse. Since 2014, as a member and later vice-chairwoman of the board of "soft palm, z.s.", she is also a co-operator of Hospice Malovická in Prague 4, which became the holder of the Makropulos Award in 2019, awarded by the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic for exemplary and highly professional provision of health care, introduction of modern methods of providing palliative care, and empathetic approach in the care of terminally ill people, especially the elderly.

Since 2010 she has been fully dedicated to work in the field of palliative care, first as a general nurse, and since 2011 as a head nurse.

Since 2017, she has also been involved in teaching nursing for future graduate general nurses in palliative and community care. She is also a member of the board of the YogaHelp Endowment Fund.

In her free time, she devotes herself mainly to her family, dogs, likes music, actively practices yoga, and likes to go out into nature.
